In a partnership with Nederpoker, CelebPoker sent, with all-inclusive packages, a number of Dutch poker talents to the Belgium Open Poker Championships 2009, where they would compete against some of the top European pros.

In the Main Event, Maupiej played a very good tournament and missed the final table by just one hand. He finished in 10th position, which is amazing in a field of 817 poker players. This resulted in him making nearly 1000 times the amount of his inital investment. By entering an €11 tournament at CelebPoker he gained entry to the event and then came out of it with a huge €10,250!

On top of this poker25john won a side event, earning him nearly €13,000. This result is very remarkable, since he started during the headsup with a disadvantage of 5 to 1. Due to his persistence and a bit of luck, poker25john proceeded to first place!

CelebPoker looks back at a very good tournament in which a partnership with the Nederpoker crew resulted in excellent performances by the players. All those who grabbed their chances with both hands have now received poker fame and a nice pot of money on top.
